Fully Operational and Continuing to Do our Part!

Thermographics a Division of LCR Hallcrest which is an essential business has been doing its part in the war on the virus, supplying Healthcare and Industry with personal reusable and disposable thermometers to check for fever. Consequently, we have put in place the necessary protective measures to ensure worker safety and maintain continuity of supply. We have produced in the USA, a record number of forehead thermometers that have been used for mass temperature screening and public safety.

 During the past three months we have been concentrating on manufacturing healthcare products in an effort to help control the spread of Covid-19. We are proud of what we have accomplished during that time, but eager to get back to normal business and will begin manufacturing for all markets starting July 1, 2020.

Hockey pucks just got a lot cooler!

Did you know that professional hockey teams freeze their game pucks?

The pucks are made of rubber and frozen to help them glide easily along the ice. When a puck starts getting warm (above 30˚ F) because of inside arena temperatures and the friction of the ice, it will start to bounce — just like rubber would!  This makes it hard for players to accurately control, pass and shoot during the game.

To solve this problem PPG worked in collaboration with LCR Hallcrest testing a solution to this problem
